He Is Risen Cookies

Spring is here and with Spring come EASTER!

I wanted to share some quick cookies I made today, using the wonderful stencils from Simply Sweet Stencils.

I used a large egg cookie cutter, and base coated it white, after it was completely dry, I use the Sunburst Stencil and yellow to air brush the sunburst pattern on the cookie, off setting it to the lower part of the cookie. Once that was dry, using a light purple stiff Royal Icing, and the He Is Risen Stencil , I applied the He is Risen image. While it does seem like many steps and complicated, I promise you, these were some of the easiest cookies I have done.
