A Jump into the Dark

Every time we think we know the future, even for a second, it changes. Sometimes, the future is changing rapidly and completely. And there is nothing left to do but choose our next move. We can choose to be afraid, to stand still trembling, without moving and thinking about the worst thing that could happen. Or we can take a step forward, into the unknown, with the thought that what will happen, it will be fantastic. If we are lucky we realize, despite everything, despite the life, that the real dream is to be able to dream again.
Ogni volta che crediamo di conoscere il futuro, anche solo per un secondo, questo cambia. A volte, il futuro cambia rapidamente e totalmente. E non ci resta altro da fare se non scegliere la nostra prossima mossa. Possiamo scegliere di avere paura, di restare fermi a tremare, senza muoverci e pensare alla cosa peggiore che potrebbe succedere. Oppure possiamo fare un passo in avanti, nell'ignoto, con il solo pensiero che quello che accadrà, sarà fantastico. Se siamo fortunati ci rendiamo conto, nonostante tutto, nonostante la vita, che il vero sogno è quello di essere capaci di sognare ancora.
