a) watching - Silicon Valley. It's raunchy. Sometimes a tad over-the-top raunchy, but quite funny, too. Hubs and I crack up over it, and honestly, we just need to veg and crack up after getting the posse to bed, so we keep watching it. Mister has been immersed in the IT world since college, so it's humor that we "get."
b) reading - The Golum and the Jinni by Helene Wecker. I saw this mentioned on a blog I recently found and fell in love with, I Believe in Story, after which my "to read" list on Goodreads grew by a bunch of new titles. I went for this one first and am glad I did. ps You can find me on Goodreads here.
c) listening - Angus and Julia Stone's Just a Boy.
d) making - popsicle stick chore jar for productive help around the house. Chores have never taken off here, despite trying charts, stickers, magnets, flashcards, flipcharts, games, rewards, and just flat out paying them cash. Nothing succeeds long-term (by that I mean more than a week). I need to raise Little Men who are responsible and help with good attitudes. Stillllll workin on it.
e) feeling - blessed, by 17 incredible years married to my best friend.
f) planning - a Memorial Day Chill at the Pool All Afternoon and Eat Fest with some neighborhood friends.
g) loving - guacamole as a condiment. It's spectacular on a turkey and cheese sandwich instead of Miracle Whip!
