Crate Paper Craft Market: Two Ways!

This clever rendition of Craft Market takes on a new twist in showing off the collection's masculine and feminine side via two beautiful layouts and neatly staged photos. It truly emphasizes how flexible Craft Market can be. .......

Hey Crate Paper fans! Jen Chapin here, and today I am showing you Craft Market - two ways. This is one of my favorite new releases from Crate this season and when I first took a look at it, the collection seemed very feminine to me. But as I examined the elements further, I saw that it could be used for masculine layouts as well. Today I am going to show you both a boy and girl layout with this collection. That's the great thing about having one of each, I can scrap the best of both worlds!

First off, I wanted to show you a bit about what is in this collection. Here I have some of the die cuts and wood veneer pieces. The best thing about these wood veneer pieces is that some have glitter and some have paint. They are fabulous and really thick.

Here is a close up shot of some of the Craft Market Stand-Out layered stickers and clothespins. The clothespins have gold glitter - LOVE. The die cuts also have some gold foil and glitter added to them. So great.

Here is the masculine layout I created. I used two 4 x 6 photos. I always print my photos with white borders as I feel it gives a nice contrast on the page and I don't have to waste time matting them with white cardstock.

I added some color to the white background with gelatos and mist droplets. I also added lots of machine stitching for texture.

Here is a closeup of one of the chipboard embellishments along with a word strip sticker. You can also see one of the wood veneer arrows that I adhered and stitched over with some gold thread.

The number 2 tag is significant on this page since my son is 2. I added some bakers twine and adhered with dimensional foam adhesive.

Can you see that star patterned paper peeking out from under the photo? That is one of my favorite pieces from this collection. I also added one of the word stickers to the wood veneer heart.

And here is my girl themed page! I cut four triangles from patterned paper and adhered them in a square pattern. I used lots of hearts and florals from this line.

I cannot leave a tag hanging without some twine. Can you?

The glittered patterned paper in this collection is to die for. It is adhered really well so the glitter doesn't flake off.

And my favorite - the gold ampersand! I really love it and wish I had a whole package of them :)

That is all for today! Hopefully you have learned how versatile the Craft Market collection is. I can assure you it is super easy to work with and there are lots of options for the projects you can create. Have a great day!
