OOTD/STLFW: Fashion Chat at Neiman Marcus

Dress, Clutch, Brooch: Vintage | Shoes: Thrifted | Belt: Old Navy

Last night was the first show of St. Louis Fashion Week and I decided to appropriately channel my inner 1960s fierce old bitch who can afford to shop at Neiman Marcus. ;) Haha, the dress and shoes are amazingly lucky recent thrift finds and I couldn’t wait to wear them out on the town! I felt very glam, which was wonderful for a change. I’ve been so into dark, flowy, witchy outfits lately.

Neiman Marcus at the Plaza Frontenac hosted a panel discussion and fashion presentation featuring accessories designer Lisa Freede, Frank & Eileen creative director Audrey McLoghlin, and fashion designer Jonathan Simkhai. The whole she-bang benefitted COCA, a fabulous local arts institution.

Jonathan Simkhai was definitely my favorite of the night. He featured all the on-trend details I’m crazy about lately–backpacks, crop tops, cut-outs, dark color palettes. Although so many of those trends have been with us all summer, his collection was undeniably fall. The texture combinations looked so luxe and perfect for chilly temperatures. Check out his gorgeous lookbooks here!

Tonight is the Well Dressed Midwest VIP Blogger Lounge at Scape American Bistro and I couldn’t be more excited! It’s so fun to hang out with my favorite blog babes and meet some great local business owners firsthand. TGIF! xo
