Week 10 – 2015

Week 10 of 2015, such a lovely week to look back onto. I actually finished the Spring table runner which you’ve commented so sweetly to, and made a little write up of the joining on the go and the little squares that go in between. I’ll share it with you somewhere this week.

I’ve started on the new Miami Beach blanket design in natural colours, it is too soon to share yet but so much fun, it won’t be long before I will show you some of it. The Diamanti set crochet pattern; cowl and fingerless gloves to match the blanket I designed for Ilaria and her baby son will be online for you at the end of this week. That will keep me busy the coming days.

Also, due to the fabulous sunny Spring weather last weekend, I couldn’t stop myself and had to start another shawl from Puur Haken. And it actually finished last night, it is still on the blocking board but I’ll show it to you when it comes of. In the making (I am definitely on a roll when it comes to burning my yarn stash lately) is a crochet project from the beautiful book Crochet with One Sheepish Girl, full of pretty and fun designs by darling Meredith. Looking at the chunky Malabrigo yarn, can you guess which project from the book is on my hook now?

Last but not least, behind the scenes I’ve worked with a lovely yarn shop owner to prepare a workshop for you in a couple weeks. I will reveal the details on Wednesday, so Dutch and Belgian ladies, stay tuned!
