DAY FOUR // FAVOURITE QUOTE.

I assume that today, there will be many Albus Dumbledore quotes. I am also quite partial to everything Dumbledore says but I have to be honest. My all time absolute favourite quote is from Bryce Courtenay's The Power of One. If you have read the book, I think you'll know what I'm about to say.
First with the head, then with the heart.
I could go into the details of this quote, and why it is so beautiful and important to the protagonist but that would ruin the book. I use this quote to remember that I have to think things through, understand as much as I can, before I can jump into things. I need to be better prepared and plan more. But it also reminds me that my mind and my heart need to be aligned. They both need to want the same things, otherwise I end up frazzled and miserable. It has stuck with me since the first time I read the book, way back when I was 10! I think that is the mark of a wonderful quote. What is your favourite quote?
