Join us as we Love Like Him!

I’m excited to announce that Traci and I have finally picked the next Bible study we are doing, it’s Love Like Him, and we hope you will join us!

Matthew 5:43-47 from The Message says,

“You’re familiar with the old written law, ‘Love your friend,’ and its unwritten companion, ‘Hate your enemy.’ I’m challenging that. I’m telling you to love your enemies. Let them bring out the best in you,not the worst. When someone gives you a hard time, respond with the energies of prayer, for then you are working out of your true selves, your God-created selves. This is what God does. He gives his best—the sun to warm and the rain to nourish—to everyone, regardless: the good and bad, the nice and nasty. If all you do is love the lovable, do you expect a bonus? Anybody can do that. If you simply say hello to those who greet you, do you expect a medal? Any run-of-the-mill sinner does that.”

It’s easy for us to love our husband, our children, family, and friends but Jesus stretches us and wants us to love those that aren’t easy to love.

I don’t know about you, but I want to love like Christ loves. I want to see people the way Christ sees people!

Love Like Him is another Bible study by Katie Orr but she’s also joined by Lara Williams.

When you mix Katie’s passion for teaching the Word in a practical way with Lara’s powerful speaking ministry — all submitted to the movement of God’s Spirit — you have a dynamic combination. One through which God graciously pierces hearts and stirs faith!

The Bible study will begin February 16th. It’s an 8 week bible study. Each week has 5 lessons so you have two days to catch up if you need to.
