How To Dress Up A Puffer Vest

The puffer vest is a major player on your layering team this season. There are a couple routes you can go with it, but when American Eagle asked me to participate in their AEOSTYLE Challenge I decided to take the look into dapper territory. The temps in New York have been pretty all over the place, to say the least, so a good vest and blazer combo can easily replace your light jacket. When pairing a puffer vest with your dressed up fit, you want to make sure that the vest doesn’t look like you just plopped it on. Pay special attention to fit and color. You might look all the way on point under the vest, but if you’re wear a brightly hued and baggy piece all people will see is a Crayola trash bag. (Wait, did I just invent that?) You wouldn’t just throw on any old jacket on when you’re decked out so do the same with the puffer and you’ll be set.
