Is This Outfit Art?

There are two things I’ve learned this past weekend after following all of my friends who went to Art Basel: 1) we’re still pretending that it’s a “thing” and 2) I don’t believe most people know what art is. I’d like to think I’m “cultured” and I even got an “A” in art history. (Granted I mad up half the things I wrote in that final paper.) My point? After seeing my feed clogged up with art pieces and people mistaking anything from a trash can to a urinal as masterpieces; it got me to thinking. Clothes are art. These pants are art. I mean hell, we’re all moving art installations. Now dammit where’s my government grant to keep me swagged out?
