Nailspiration: HandPicked Metallic Dot Infinity Scarf

HandPicked is one of my favorite places to shop. They have quite a few stores in North and South Carolina and it’s my go to place for accessories and gifts. So, obviously, I am on their email list. Last week I got an email for a flash sale that included a few pictures. I immediately fell in love with the scarf in the email. It was mint with metallic gold polka dots; the PERFECT color palette for spring.

Since I’m not really a scarf wearer I decided to do a manicure inspired by the scarf and I have to say, I love the way it turned out!

For the base I used essie Blossom Dandy. Then I used a medium sized dotting tool and added polka dots using JulieG Liquid Metal. The result was surprisingly similar to the scarf. And honestly, I loved this manicure so much I had a hard time not starring at it.

It’s been awhile since I’ve done a nailspiration post. I quit enjoyed this one. It’s nice to be inspired by something not related to nail polish at all but turning it into a manicure. I’m going to try to do these types of posts more regularly.

As always, make sure to check out the swatches under the jump.

If you’re curious about HandPicked you can check out their website here. Unfortunately, this scarf is no longer available (apparently I wasn’t the only one that liked it!) but I did pin it if you’d like to see the original inspiration for this manicure.
