A Quick Visit to Norwich

While my mom is visiting this week, we spontaneously decided to make the hour drive up to Norwich as we hadn’t been there before and wanted to check it out as we had heard good things about it.

It really is quite pretty, it’s a small city full of eateries and coffee shops and hair dressers and all the stores you would expect in any town. There is rich historical architecture every where that we marvelled at and in our limited time there, we found some choice shops and a great coffee shop in the Lanes.

This building is utterly stunning and the arcade was so beautiful to be inside. The next photo is my favourite.

We fell in love with this home accessories store called Berrys & Grey, it was full of beautiful and interesting home wares and I just wanted all the things!

Little bit obsessed with retro telephones!

I’m in the market for an ampersand sign for my bookshelf and I saw one in Tiger but this one with the lights in it stole the show!

You can own your very own Beauty and the Beast rose in a jar!

We popped into this hippy store and I fell for this embroidered cushion, there was also an eiderdown in white like this and I swear I’ve seen something similar at Zara Home (of which I have an obsession).

My mom fell for these cute zebra statues!

We made a pit stop to Tiger and I chose this cute bowl set

What I loved about Norwich is all the independent stores that were so beautifully styled, this was a tea and coffee store and it smelled amazing!

One thing I have learned from my favourite Youtube Vlogger, Mr Ben Brown is to always seek out independent coffee shops, before we had to head home we made a stop in Strangers for a couple of smooth latté’s brewed at the perfect temperatures.

I will definitely be paying a few more visits to Norwich in the near future and if you live there or have been there, please comment below with your suggestions of where to grab lunch and more independent coffee. We made the awful mistake of stopping in the Pig & Whistle for a cheap burger and walked out in disgust from what they served us. That’s what ravaged hunger will do to you! Avoid.
