The last time I wore plaid was probably about half a decade ago.

It was a fitted shirt from Abercrombie & Fitch, and it featured v (not) flattering boob pockets. Though it was soft and flannel and comfortable, it made me feel like a lumberjack or Dallas Green or something else equally Canadian, and because I was a more along the lines of mystical fairy and also a girl, I put it to rest after one wear.

Although I’ve somehow acquired 3 plaid items in the past month, I still don’t think I can really identify a plaid person. Even though I’m no longer a fairy, and am still not Dallas Green, I’ve learned to look past the connotations of arbitrary patterns and *werk* them into my wardrobe.

With that said, I’m unsure if a full-length plaid skirt is exactly comparable to a fitted flannel from A&F, but for the sake of the argument, let’s say it is and move on with our lives.

PS: These Chloe boots circa 2007 are my pride and joy…even though a) I seldom wear them and b) Jeffrey Campbell made them accessible to the entire world. Whatever, I forgive you humans and also the universe.

PPS: For one more fun plaid thing to add to my/your growing collection, be sure to check out Quill & Tine for an assortment of luxury leather gloves that are touch-screen sensitive. Lined with a layer of super soft cashmere/lambswool, I may not drive a real human vehicle, but I definitely feel like I can drive many with these gloves. (Though not all at once…because that is unsafe).

If you need clarification: yes, humans, you’ve heard me correctly. About all the aforementioned things. These gloves allow you to peruse various internet websites and fun-filled apps in cold climates without having to sacrifice your precious fingers to frost bite. I’m the owner of these (pictured above), but there are other beautiful styles available for purchase in order to fulfil the needs of you and your touch-screen addicted loved ones (both male and female) as well. Perfect holiday gift, if I do say so myself!!!
