Nendo’s Chocolatetexture Lounge Looks Pretty Yummy

Nendo designed a special lounge and chocolates for the “Designer of the Year” award ceremony during Maison & Objet 2015 (Hall 8 F1-G2). Yes, a chocolate lounge. Wait, let me board a plane to Paris immediately.

“chocolatexture lounge” @ Maison & Objet is a limited-time-only chocolate lounge designed in time for the awarding ceremony of “Designer of the Year Maison et Objet 2015″ that will include 400 “chocolatexture” chocolate sets designed and being sold for a limited time at this event.

Focusing on shape, the nine different types of chocolate are made at the same size with different textures and tastes.

Each chocolate is directly named after Japanese expressions used to describe texture:
1. “tubu-tubu” Chunks of smaller chocolate drops.
2. “sube-sube” Smooth edges and corners.
3. “zara-zara” Granular like a file.
4. “toge-toge” Sharp pointed tips.
5. “goro-goro” Fourteen connected small cubes.
6. “fuwa-fuwa” Soft and airy with many tiny holes.
7. “poki-poki” A cube frame made of chocolate sticks.
8. “suka-suka” A hollow cube with thin walls.
9. “zaku-zaku” Alternately placed thin chocolate rods forming a cube.

I hope they have leftovers…!
