ABC Kitchen & ABC Home

I recently had a chance to revisit one of my favorite restaurants in New York City: ABC Kitchen, a place that is so perfectly designed that one feels right at home with its lovely antiqued finishes and French countryside vibe. Thanks to Chef Jean-Georges, I would gladly return again and again for the divinely prepared food. Here’s how we lunched on that one fine day.

As you know, ABC Home happens to be my ultimate design haven, so of course, we did some browsing, and as usual, the scene was simply delightful and inspiring. From yards of velvety ribbons and whimsical pillows to shelves of sparkly crystal and ceramics, exquisite treasures were stashed around every bend. Obviously, the reocurring debate over want versus need ensued.
