Exciting news

I thought that this weekly update might come out a bit handy at the moment. All of you guys know that I’m still a university student, and the last few weeks and these upcoming two weeks are busy, extremely busy. I have deadlines of projects, portfolios, I had an assessment and I have exams, which I hate. But okay, I’m not complaining since I love my major and direction of where I’m going and planning to go. Did I tell you guys already that I’m planning on doing my final internship for this study in the city of angels, Los Angeles? I can’t believe I’m so ‘old’ already. I still remember when I came in the first year of my highschool and I was like, oh my god, if you’re in the fifth class you’re so old. Well, guess where I’m at right now, almost graduating uni. But to continue the busy story, I feel guilty about not writing a lot, so hereby a little update of what happened this past week and for next week there is an interesting collaboration coming your way, so stay tuned guys! The weekend: ‘As I’m writing this I have a minor feeling of sickness and a bit of a hangover from yesterday (Saturday). It’s not that I’m always drinking quite a lot, actually I always drink water, but this time everything was free because some of my closest friends became champions and are back on the old level of 7 years ago. With what you might think and ask yourself, well with handball, so next season they will be playing on not the highest level of my country but one below. So I’m extremely proud and while I’m ‘eating’ (not sure you can call it like that if you’ll see me now) a cracker and trying to stuff an apple into my mouth (it’s normally never hard, come on, it’s an apple and I’m an addict but on this moment…)’ After I felt like that I decided to jump into my bed again and to wrap me up like a burrito. A few hours later I woke up again and decided that I needed to get out of my bed since some of my closest friends, including the champion ones, and I planned a few months back that we will spent the afternoon and evening together since we don’t see each other that often. Like once, every two weeks or less. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday were schooldays and on Wednesday I had an assessment, we passed it with a 7 so that was quite good, in my opinion. And after that assessment I went to Amsterdam central station as quick as possible since I had a huge party to go to, yeah on Wednesday at noon, crazy right? The party involves cows, lots of beer and a huge number of people who all come together and enjoy the day, cause it was Paasvee. So I took the train in the direction of Den Helder and a station later, at Amsterdam Sloterdijk some friends joined in and at the station where we needed to go another friend was waiting. Not to forget, the train was incredibly busy and crowded, so were the platforms of the train stations but it was a fun journey. The event/ party sounds really farmer a like but no worries, we don’t walk around with comboyhats on our heads, we just dress like going out while remembering to watch our step since there might be some little places with cow shit every few metres. But it was fun, like every single time. Everyone is really kind and friendly and just enjoys the fact that you can use this as an excuse to drink some beers on a weekday. Thursday and Friday were the same as Monday and Tuesday. So wish me luck next week you guys, I think I might need it! And don’t forget to stay tuned for the collaboration.
