Invitation Tip #102: Email RSVP for Wedding Invitations

Handmade Wedding Blog | Emmaline Bride® - Handmade wedding blog for detail-obsessed brides.

It’s time for another wedding invitation tip! This time, we’re referring again to your RSVP card. Last week, we told you about adding this to your RSVP cards; today, we’re sharing how to email your rsvp instead of mailing it in. If you offer guests the option, you’ll receive your RSVPs even more quickly, which means one less thing to worry about. Here’s how it’s done:

Email RSVP for Wedding Invitations

This invitation from WildHeart Paper, above, demonstrates this tip perfectly. The RSVP card includes a small line that informs guests, “You May RSVP by Email to:” and includes the couple’s email address. For this, we recommend obtaining an individual email address from Gmail or Yahoo, just for this purpose. This will ensure you will receive all of the RSVPs and it won’t get cluttered with your regular email.

We also recommend that you still provide the following:

o an RSVP card
o an RSVP envelope, pre-addressed and stamped

Since many guests will prefer the traditional way of mailing the card in, they’ll like the ease of it. Tech-savvy guests will love the quick email option for their RSVP, and it’s just an extra alternative to include.

We love this invitation tip, but man-oh-man do we also love this wedding invitation style! It’s a geometric print, which is perfect for a modern wedding. I love the style shown in navy with faux gold, below:

And, in black, plus check out the blush and gold one. Blush and gold has to be the prettiest color scheme, at least I think so.

You can find these beautiful invitations at WildHeart Paper, Featured Artist in The Marketplace.
