One Love Organics Skin Saviour Waterless Beauty Balm

Despite having a fructose allergy and sensitive skin, I try to opt for natural skincare products or products with a minimal number of ingredients (10 is the magic number at the moment). Though I find that these products tend to have a shorter shelf life than the majority of products you could buy on the highstreet, I feel like I’m doing myself a favour in the long run as my skin is not absorbing chemicals that my body has no use for.

At the moment, I’m completely smitten over One Love Organics Skin Saviour Waterless Beauty Balm (RRP £52 for 3.5oz) which is a natural balm formulated with pure, cold-pressed plant oils, mango butter and extracts to break down dirt and make-up. Rather than completely stripping everything away – like some cleanser do – the Skin Saviour balm can cleanser without stripping away your skin’s protective layer

What I love most about this balm is its smell. OMG! This smells like pineapples in the summer . . . and no I’m not exaggerating. I honestly wish that my blog had sensory widgets installed so you could experience first-hand what the Waterless Balm smells like but unfortunately my mac doesn’t have that technology (yet) so you just have to take my word for it.

I’ve heard that different bloggers have used this product in slightly different ways as it is a multi-purpose balm that can be used to tame’ flyways, as a moisturiser and you can even mix with your mineral foundation for a smooth, dewy complexion’ but I apply this One Love Organics balm right after cleansing my face with a miscellar water.

I massage this into my face to get rid of any dirt, oils or leftover makeup that I missed and then rinse it off with my favourite gentle cleanser and a flannel.

I’ve been using this for about 3 months – which is a long time in blogger world – as I really wanted to try this out before I blogged about it as I’m a bit apprehensive about recommending a skincare product unless I know that it works and if my super soft skin in the morning is anything to go by, this balm WORKS!.

One Love Organics Skin Saviour Waterless Beauty Balm costs £30 for 1.3oz and £52 for 3.5oz and can be purchased from the One Love Organics website and the Birchbox Shop.

Today I’ve paired my brand new H&M Biker Leather Trousers – which I had to buy 2 sizes bigger (if you know, then you know) – with my AdR x H&M Knee High Boots. I rarely wear these knee high boots as I also have the thigh-high version but I felt that you wouldn’t be able to see the gorgeous stitch work on these biker trousers if I opted for a pair of over -the-knee boots. I then decided to soften up all that leather with a gorgeous Boucle Blue Check Wrap from Next – yes, I do wear a lot of blue – and my new Calvin Klein Amaze Watch (which I’m obsessed with) et viola!!! Double Leather has become acceptable.
