I try to cut back on the chemicals that go on to and into my body – whether it’s my search for natural deodorant, eliminating artificial sweeteners, using natural cleaning products in my house or buying organic foods. I do my best to make small changes but I also try to go with moderation in everything.

So – I wanted to share with you all a few natural products that I’ve been loving lately.
First: a new face soap and moisturizer – I credit this find to my friend Shannon from Badass Fitness. I’ve gone through several different ‘natural’ face soaps and moisturizers and just never liked the results. Recently I started washing my face with Natural African Soap and moisturizing at night with Alaffia EveryDay Shea Shea Butter, Tangerine Citrus, 11 oz
The verdict is still out on how well my new face regimen works on my acne. Lucky me and adult acne. But, it’s usually also a hormonal thing – tied to my cycles – so we’ll have to see how this helps. At least this past month, my breakout was more mild than usual, so maybe it’s progress. My skin feels smooth and clean
And, I’ve found a good natural deodorant – the Crystal Body Deodorant Stick-4.25 oz
I know when I’ve talked before about my quest for natural deodorant, I get all kinds of comments from many of you that you just couldn’t do it, and I totally get that. But, it works for me.
I’m a straw drinker. I always have a drink with a straw. I’ve seen stainless steel straws online and thought that I’d like to give it a shot – less waste was my theory.
Stainless steel straws are Crystal Body Deodorant Stick-4.25 oz
Which reminds me, I should take a stainless steel straw to work – my water at my desk is getting awfully boring, maybe a new straw will perk things up?
Are you a straw drinker?
