TREND ALERT-SPRING 2014 EYE WEAR
The first trend report of the new year is a spotlight on Spring 2014 Eye Wear. Nothing completes a summer outfit quite like a great pair of chic shades and let’s not forget sunglasses are essential for eye protection from harmful ultraviolet rays and to keep delicate area around the eyes from wrinkles. The season’s trend for sunnie’s are nothing short of playful with bold, bright colors, mirrors, metallic hardware, fun patterns of animal prints and floral, geometric shapes, colored lenses as well as tortoise shell material. Some popular lens shapes that will be on the forefront of design are extreme cat eye, bold oversize seventies inspired glam and even three dimensional layers. We’ll also be seeing glasses with adorned charms, metal scroll work with sportier styles borrowed from ski and scuba gear that’s on this summer’s hot list. Come this spring it’s a no rule no hold barred shade game and the more outrageous or attention getting your eye wear then all the better for you. I’m partial to the seventies glamarama look but you guy’s already know that. My first spring pair is already in the bag and I can’t wait to buy some more funky shades.
