Embroidered Top

Bare legs weather is here to stay! This pair of boyfriend shorts is going to be a great wardrobe staple this summer, super laid back and easy to style. The looks that I got from people on the street told me that not everyone likes them though, but I guess that’s part of the deal with items that are a little fashion forward…

Like you’ve heard me saying repeatedly, the streets of Freo are just full of charm. It’s never hard to find a good backdrop for outfit photos. That, and the fact that the town has a ridiculous amount of cute cafés and good coffee to offer, make it a favourite place of mine to visit in the weekend. I do have to say that shooting this outfit right next to a busy street was a little awkward, but considering how these photos turned out, it was worth it.

The embroidered blouse with tassels is made from a super light fabric that would make a great beach companion. Oh wait, actually this entire outfit would be suitable to wear to the beach, just minus the fancy clutch and heels. Speaking of the beach: I’m off to Margaret River for a few days next week. Can’t wait, I really need a breather. You’ve probably seen these classic black sandals on me in this office ready outfit with Oasis, but I’ve been wearing them non-stop. They’ve got a good heel length and just that general looks-good-with-everything quality. Score!
