in the circle

it's been pretty chilly here in california. i recently came back from a trip to orange county from my home here in the bay area. i stayed for the past week and just returned yesterday. as a result of me being away, i missed a majority of the "huge" storm that hit most of the bay area. however, coming home and seeing the trees & grass as a vibrantly green as possible was such a beautiful intake. i wish we got rain like that more often.

even southern california was a bit on the chillier side as a result of the big storm. luckily i brought warmer clothes with me. i paired my new neff beanie with my bdg striped tunic sweater and medium wash high waited jeans.

i wanted to add a bit of holiday cheer to my ootd. i layered on my winter patterned knee socks with my jeweled statement necklace. i thought these two pieces would be perfect because they both add splashes of red to the top & bottom of the outfit. the brown accents in my outfit (for example: the michael kors tote & vince camuto boots) help neutralize and bring the outfit to a completion since theres various colors all throughout.
