Free People Electric Orchid Print Swing Tunic

Visiting a museum in itself is a cool and amusing experience, but when you get to make yourself the centerpiece of a dope exhibit, that’s when things go up a few notches. This is exactly what I did a couple of weeks ago, while visiting the Hirshhorn Museum in DC with my friend. We took some quick shots in the middle of this huge, white installation designed by artist Ernesto Neto. The stretchy material is filled with white rice which made them into shapely, monumental sacks. It was pretty awesome to see. I really dig how these images came out because the white room really helped to bounce light off of this floral tunic. I’m so into ethereal visuals and this definitely did it for me. On another note, some of you may know that Free People opened their doors in the Harbor East area of Baltimore last Friday. I have to say, it is one of the best storefronts I’ve ever seen – and I am not just saying that because it’s where I live. I was able to visit the store and meet some of the staff before the store opened and got some cool shots while there. From the segmented themes – such as music festival styles, beach essentials and more – to the artsy and intriguing furniture and fixtures, it has more than enough character. I especially love their intimate apparel and eyewear selection. I’m sure you will catch me wearing a few pieces on the blog this summer, so stay tuned.

Thanks for stopping by the blog loves!! Have a great weekend!

xoxo
