Vernal Hymn

Ohai there! Who's this, you're asking? This is somebody who's been super busy with school/work and didn't mind not blogging for once. I actually got to experience what it means to restore energy on a weekend instead of being all stressed out on Sunday nights. Also, I might've started a micro blog on Dayre, a platform the lovely Nana introduced me to. Feel free to follow me, it'll have some content you most likely wouldn't get to see otherwise. Anyways, Maple Lens hooked me up with the entire line-up of EOS' new Briller series, which will be featured in the next couple look posts. It's their way of kicking my butt to resume my review activities and I gladly appreciate it, ha ha.

At first sight, the EOS Briller reminded me of Dueba's famous Puffy 3 Tones series and in fact they look a lot like them except the Brillers are subdued and not nearly as vibrant - and thus fake-looking - as the Puffys. They're the same in diameter (14.5mm) and only slightly enlarge the eyes, which makes them a perfect hybrid of colour contacts and circle lenses, a series I'd recommend to beginners who are yet to be fully convinced by the magic circle lenses can do.

There's honestly nothing much to say about the Brillers you couldn't already find in any of my other reviews: they do what they're supposed to do. They're comfortable, have medium colour opacity and will - as usual - work best on dark eyes and intensify the vibrancy of already light eyes; the perfect all-rounder. And at $18.90 a pair (including a free lens case), they're quite a steal as well. Make sure to check out using my promo code 'fenuabeaute', which will give you an additional 15% off. Spring has already begun, let 'em fancy colour contacts have a party out in the open!
