Introducing FineCraftGuild
Before I’ll show off some gorgeous party features this week, let me share a bit about us.
FineCraftGuild: we aims to be a ‘destination’-blog for easy, eco-friendly DIY Crafts & Home Décor (weekend-Monday) and sewing and crochet patterns (Tuesday-Thursday). On Fridays, we just started a new series on ‘how to make money blogging’ for crafters.
Besides showing my own patterns and ideas, I feature round-up posts, e.g. 50 lovely Mothers day gifts to DIY or 100 Best Easter Ideas.
The SHARE IT ONE MORE TIME Party Features for this Week
I choose a theme for this week’s features: DIY home Spa Recipes. Maybe it’s because I just bought a huge bag of bath salts to make something with, or what, but all these six DIY home spa ideas that you entered stood out for me. They all had stunningly beautiful photos and easy to DIY home spa recipes and tutorials. In fact, I loved ‘m so much that I decided to super-feature them, dedicating a whole page on them: DIY HOME SPA RECIPES.
Here, the DIY home spa recipes are ranked from my ‘100% awesome and most favorite’ to ‘a tiny bit less favorite’; they are ALL FABULOUS. I suggest you check them all out. Some even come with video tutorials and all!
As well as these absolutely fabulous DIY Home Spa ideas, I also want to highlight two eco/budget friendly DIY Home Décor Ideas for Spring:
The first feature is a wonderful Reclaimed Wood Wall Art project, that was posted at My Craftily Ever After.com. With a simple homemade iKat stencil, guest blogger Shelly from DolenDiaries transformed an old plank into a decorative piece of artwork that added a sophisticated and interesting layer to her home décor. I love it. Simple to do and impactful.
Another home decorating project I want to feature is Cori’s project from Hey, let’s make Stuff. Cori explains how to create a console table that costs next to nothing and that is sturdy and stable. A great Ikea-hack! Love it. Check out how she did it!
