The One With The OPI Sand Castle

Hellooooo everybodyyy! I was sent some of the awesome OPI Brazilian Collection gels to play around with and this is what I came up with. I knew I wanted to something really summery since the collection was inspired by Brazil. I immediately thought sand castle once I saw "Dont Bossa Nova Me Around". Its the perfect sand color!

I used Cant find my Czechbook for the background which was from the Euro Centrale collection. I built the castle on the nail with acrylic and painted it with the gel. I topped the sand castle with their Matte Gel Topcoat to give it more of a sand appearance. I sculpted the flag and shovel separately and attached them with glue. The flag is Red Hot Rio and the shovel is Kiss Me Im Brazilian. I used a tan acrylic mixed with a custom glitter to create the glittering sand.
The formula on these polishes are amaazinggg. They are super opaque and were almost completely solid with 1 coat. They cured super well with no wrinkles or pulls.

I also tried out the OPI light for the first time and I really loved it. Ive always used Gelish, which I love, but this one has a few more features that I liked. There is more variety of times to set it to. There is 15, 30, 45, and 60 second buttons to choose. You select the time and light is activated when the middle finger touches the sensor inside.

Its also a plus for me that the light is black with light up blue letters. My salon is black and blue so it matches perfectlyyy. Might not be something exciting for most people but I love little things like that! Im such a sucker for cute packaging.. I tend to buy things I dont need just because I like the way they look...hahaa.. oh welll..
Soooo. to sum things up.. polishes are awesome.. light is awesome.. and its cute. so thats that.
I have a few more from the collection to try out so expect another OPI post soon!
I still didn't make a new signature... :/
