Petite girl loves high-waisted bottoms

It was a lovely day with lovely weather. I avoided wearing an all black outfit, so I combined my black clothes with a light-colored pair of shoes and bag. As you can see, I was wearing high-waisted bottoms again. I am head over heels for high-waisted bottoms. They have been hot in the 80's and 90's and now they are totally back in the fashion scene. High-waisted bottoms are not only trendy, they can also camouflage flaws. By wearing them, the eye assumes that the legs starts at the waistline. High-waisted bottoms elongate your legs and make you look taller. Furthermore, they also accentuate curves, go with every body shape, look good with crop tops and fit women of all ages. There are so many reasons to love them.
Here is a little styling tip for all the (petite) ladies who have the desire to look taller. Wear high-waisted jeans, trousers, shorts or skirts. Pair it with high heels for a maximum effect. The higher the heels, the longer the legs. Et voilà! Some extra inches are added to your height.
