Hej på er. Tänkte göra en kortare summering om de ställen vi besökte i USA under vår lilla roadtrip:
Los Angeles: Här spenderade vi sex dagar och det var absolut bästa delen på resan. LA är en av de häftigaste städerna jag besökt och det finns precis ALLT. Ett hett tips är att ha en bil till hands då det underlättar transporten mellan alla områden (LA är väldigt stort och uppdelat). Gör mycket research innan er resa så att ni har koll på ställen, aktiviteter, adresser med mera på förhand. Vi bodde på Sportsmen’s Lodge i Hollywood, ett simpelt men bra hotell. Vi hyrde bil genom Kilroy Sweden.
Las Vegas: Las Vegas var tyvärr en ordentlig beskvikelse. Vet dock inte riktigt vad jag hade förväntat mig…Jag är inte jätteglad i spelmaskiner, supande eller liknande aktiviteter. Därför blev Casino-delen i mina ögon mer jobbigt än roligt. Tycker det är så fruktansvärt tragiskt att se så många människor spela bort så mycket pengar och dessutom är det många som har rejäla alkoholproblem…jättehemskt. Så big NO till Vegas. Vi bodde hur som helst på Monte Carlo vilket var onödigt dyrt och bilderna stämde INTE överens med dem på booking.
Death Valley och Bakersfield: När vi skulle köra från Vegas till San Francisco passerade vi nationalparken Death Valley. OJ vilken magnifik upplevelse…miljön, vägarna, bergen, solnedgången…ÅK DIT om ni har vägarna förbi! Vi stannade och övernattade i staden Bakersfield på vägen också, då det var för långt att köra till San Francisco i ett sträck. Vi bodde på DaysInn, ett tvåstjärnigt motell som absolut var helt ok.
San Francisco: Sista stoppet innan vi åkte till Mexiko var den härliga staden San Francisco. Staden hamnar som top två strax efter Los Angeles. Vi bodde i down town på hotellet Adante Hotel. Hotellet var enkelt, fräscht och hade en bra frukost samt bra location. Vi spenderade våra två dagar i San Fran med shopping , god mat och häng i solen. Vi åkte också över andra sidan Golden Gate Bron till ett område som heter Battery Spencer, där utsikten är magnifik. Bilder kommer!
