An Essie Haul.

As you can see, my Essie obsession (ob-Essie-sion?) is still going strong – I don’t think I’ll ever stop loving this brand, and something about my crazy Essie collection makes me very happy. I love everything from the design of the bottle, to the variation of shades and let’s not forget that incredible brush.

I headed to Boots to check out the new releases and ended up leaving with four – yep, FOUR – new shades. Treat yo’ self. I thought I’d give you a little run down of the shades, and hopefully follow this up with some nail looks on here too – once my hands are repaired from all this DIY! My nails are in no state to show on this here blog. And so here, they are – my new Essie additions

Tuck It In My Tux: Yep, just mistook that first T for an F. Tuck It In My Tux is that brilliant pearly white at the top there; as you’ll know I’m pretty loyal to Essie Blanc. It’s my typical ‘go to’ white nail shade, and I do adore white nails. I decided to pick this up and see if it offered anything different. It’s more of a milky white, rather than the opaque-loveliness of Blanc. This would be ideal if you preferred not to have solid colour, I think you would need a good few coats to get it looking bright. I’m not sure how I feel about it yet, I think I definitely prefer Blanc!

Bump Up The Pumps: This has to be my current favourite hue, I wore this on my nails in Berlin and it lasted SO long – like the entire week without even tip wear. I love this kind of wearable pink, it’s not too girly or garish I feel. One of my favourite Essie colours, without a doubt.

Back In The Limo: I bought this as it looks a lot like A Crewed Interest, which I own but it’s the original formula so the brush is rubbish. I can confirm that it’s a lot like it, it’s a lovely soft peach – not too pigmented but after a couple of thin coats it’s really lovely. A dreamy spring colour that would go perfectly with a tan.

Double Breasted Jacket: This shade is a lot like my all-time favourite Essie shade, Watermelon. It’s a little more red, but I love it – it offers a gorgeous high-shine finish with a rich, vibrant colour and once it’s applied, it really looks like a salon job. Me love.

Have you picked up any Essie shades lately?
