Bedside Beauty Staples.

I keep most of my evening skincare routine in my bedside drawer – this is basically so I can sit in bed with my electric blanket on, catching up on reddit as I go. It’s the best way to make the most of your routine – I even put eye cream on!

I kind of combined this post and made it an interiors/beauty mashup, as I wanted to show you my new West Elm table! It’s the Penelope Acorn bedside table, and it combines everything I love – mid-century style, dark wood and a marble top. Swoon!

As for the products, I have quite the little lineup happening over on that beautiful marble top. I usually start by applying the incredible Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Eye Cream, this is the only eye treatment I’ve ever stuck to – it’s a miracle worker I tell thee. It instantly sinks in, and upon wakening my eyes look fresh, bright and healthy and the skin around my eyes is so soft and smooth – meaning concealer applies better too.
I also love the Aurelia Revitalise Glow Serum (£46) – I use this every single night as it seems to be my skins favourite product. This is a super light, instantly smoothing serum that delivers a load of all-natural, skin-loving ingredients. It sinks in instantly and never feels tacky or drying, and my skin can’t live without it. Well worth looking in to!

Another treatment I recently raved about is the NUDE ProGenius Treatment Milk (£62), a light milky treatment that sits somewhere between a serum and a moisturiser. It’s lovely and hydrating but feels light in texture, so it’s an all-round winner with me. It’s quite an expensive product so I tend to be light-handed with application, but it’s a dreamy pick nonetheless.

I also have here the fabulous Sarah Chapman Skinesis Overnight Exfoliating Booster, this helps to even out tone and generally improve the condition of the skin. It’s a light exfoliating oil, so it softens and nourishes the skin while it works. I really like using it, and I think the results speak for themselves.
Amongst all the luxurious high end picks sits my humble Weleda Iris Hydrating Night Cream (£13.95) – if you buy one thing from this post, let it be this. I’m super picky with my moisturisers, but I know I’ll be sticking with this one for a while. It’s beautiful to apply, actually hydrates and nourishes my skin and does it all without any nasty ingredients. Love!

I also have the Fresh Body Lotion on hand as it’s my favourite, and a bottle of the This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray, this heavenly concoction is something I just won’t be without!
