What’s In My Bag.

It’s (almost) compulsory to do a ‘what’s in my bag’ post when a new handbag has been purchased; I love these kinds of posts so I wasted no time emptying the contents of my new Topshop bag on my floor…

First up, let’s talk about that beaut of a handbag – I actually got this from Jordan for my birthday, it’s structured and sturdy with gold details and lots of compartments. I think it may be sold out now, but have a nosy around your local store in case you get lucky. I absolutely love it.
As for the essentials, I always carry around my Paperchase glitter diary. I bought this before December was even halfway through, and it hasn’t left my side since. I feel excited to get it out of my bag and show it off to the world – truly. I’m not even ashamed. Along with my diary is a whole load of pens and pencils, I’m a stationery addict so there’s nothing too surprising about this.

Also here is my Alphabet Bags Ampersand Coin Purse (£15) for all my bits and bobs, and my trusty iPhone 6 with this super cute Iconemesis Feather Case (£9.99). I’m never without my phone and this beautiful cover makes it even more appealing.

I try to keep my handbags pretty tidy, no receipts or biscuit crumbs, but I have to own up and say my headphones are always, always a tangled mess. Always. I don’t even know how it happens but I’ve just come to accept it now.
There’s also always a selection of makeup products lying in the depths of all my handbags – at present, I can see the Benefit Erase Paste (£20.50), because who doesn’t cover their dark circles on the go (?), my favourite Diptyque Vetyerio fragrance (£50), the Liz Earle Natural Finish Pressed Powder (£21.50) and a Sephora brush. These are all essentials in my mind so don’t even question it.

Of course, there’s also a vast collection of lip products, ranging from everyday lip balms to a statement red – Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment is one of the best lip products I’ve ever come across! I tend to just chuck in staple products when it comes to my makeup; concealer and powder is a must, as is a lip gloss and an evening lip colour. I don’t usually overdo it, but I do like to have a few essentials on hand should a situation arise.

That’s pretty much all there is to it, a swift roundup of some of my most-loved possessions. What do you carry in your bag?
