Our First Official Fall Weekend

I know that fall has technically been here for a couple of weeks already, but this weekend felt like the first official weekend of fall for us (insert hallelujah emoji). The air was crisp outside and the boots and sweaters came out of hiding. I really only know how to dress this time of year. So yes, absolutely wonderful and amazing, this weather. Chilly weather brings out my happiest feelings. I just go outside, take a deep breath in and it’s instant happiness.

Growing up in Florida, the 60’s was as cold as it got. Maybe my body is thinking it’s Christmas time? I just remember walking around school as a little kid and seeing hoodies everywhere, feeling excited that we had a reason to wear hoodies. HOODIES. Growing up in south Florida was weird. Anyway…

This weather has me wishing we had a cozy fire place that we could light while watching some of our favorite movies. The following are some of my favorites for cozying up on the couch and watching with Adam. Or, you know, with my girlfriends over a glass of wine when I so graciously give Adam a break from watching all the chick flicks.

1. You’ve Got Mail – Let’s face it, I love to watch this anytime of the year. All day, everyday.
2. The Holiday – Another one I could watch over and over again.
3. Love Actually – All the feels. All. Of. Them.
4. Sleepless in Seattle – All the Nora Ephron movies, really.
5. Elizabethtown – Great music, great story. 60B!!
