New Years Day a message.

Happy New Year. I don't usually write a 'New Year, New Me/Blog' there are plenty about, all with wishes, big and small goals for the year ahead. Some fab ones too.
I am not one for looking back overly, I don't make resolutions, I have things I would like to do and if I do them I will be happy. But if I don't achieve them then I won't be feeling a failure
This stems from a little age, moreover I think that my role as a full time carer for Granny tends to blurs days into each other a little and also the years. We have to live day to day and each day and increasing nigh times is a period that is a small achievement in making her feel happy, comfortable and in touch with us. It is though our third new year with her, she turned 95 and that gives me reason to smile.
For the blog, I have no real major plans, I have the urge to keep it running, give me a chance to still be communicating with the outside world, its that simplistic. However with tiredness, well total exhaustion, it can be a little tricky.
Glancing at my sidebar and seeing the yearly lessening of posts has over months given a tinge of sadness, but today I choose to view it with gladness. Despite being a little less full, its survived.
Maybe a bit tired like me, like me the site could do with a pamper.
I did achieve a regular posting this year. My Freebie Friday is soon a year old!! I have on certain weeks nearly not published. Life certainly gets in the way but we both made it.
Its thanks to lots of support, kind words and "Jo, you can do it!" from friends, plus comments and linking up from readers and bloggers has helped motivate me to keep it going.
So I hope I manage to write posts, reviews, as I love doing these and making sure they are thorough, find fabulous giveaways, cook and make new food, that is tricky, but doable and I hope I am here in 2016, distracting you all as I'm given to.
If there are any posts you love to, or would love to see, do let me know?
