B.P. jean jacket (similar), Thrifted sequin top, American Eagle jeans, Target heels When I went to the Rose Bowl flea market last month with a couple girlfriends, we came across this sequined number that at the time was a pretty unfortunate looking dress. Thanks to the discerning and creative eye of my friend Allison, she convinced me to spend the $10 and buy it, saying we'd figure out what to make of it later. So I took it home, cut off the skirt part and absolutely fell in love with the cut at the bottom of the top. I don't love how the sleeves fit (it's a little big), but I've found I can cover those up with jackets for now. I'm excited to get creative and figure out more ways to wear this.
Morals of the story: Always say yes to sequins. Especially when they're only $10. And be thankful for friends who know you well enough to talk you into buying fabulous things like this.
