new toms | one for one bags!

We all know and love the one-for-one mission behind TOMS shoes (and sunglasses and coffee)… but TOMS is launching a NEW one for one program that I personally am super excited about. Their new handbag and wallet line offers stylish and practical bags (loving those duffels and backpacks!) and with every TOMS handbag purchase you are providing a birthing kit and training to provide safe conditions for pregnant women and new babies across the world.

I know personally that birthing two babies was kind of a scary experience for me… even with my beloved doctor and husband close at hand in a world class hospital. When I think of doing that without a skilled practitioner or without a clean environment I can only imagine how scary that could be. When you purchase a bag you not only get an awesome new bag/purse but you offer an opportunity at life, health and safety for a new mother and her child. What a great one for one program!
