ARTSY TUESDAY: ELIZABETH MAYVILLE

I introduce Elizabeth from Elizabeth Mayville on Etsy. She is a very talented artist living and working in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Art from Grand Valley State University in 2006 and has been painting ever since. Her work is mostly inspired by the idea of 'home', but she also says, 'the small bits of life that bring us comfort.' Elizabeth's work has been featured on Apartment Therapy, SF Girl By Bay, Poppytalk, Art Hound, and The Love List and has been exhibited in many galleries throughout Michigan. I absolutely love Elizabeth's work and am so glad to be sharing it with you all today. I think it is so charming and just all around gorgeous. Her work is truly unique and each piece has its own story to tell. She's definitely a very versatile artist when it comes to subject matter as she paints anything from animals and portraits to landscapes and still life! Beautiful, right? My absolute favorite is her Grapefruit Print. I love grapefruit and this print would be perfect for my kitchen! Wouldn't you agree?
