Simple Green Smoothie




I thought it was about time i started to incorporate more food posts into the blog. Ever since i left Australia for Bali, my blogging pretty much became non existent. The old blog faded away and this one became my new space, an exciting place for sharing and documenting this life's journey.
Now that i'm back in Australia and finally have my own kitchen (YAY) i feel like my passion for food, health, wellness and healing needs to be shared. So, i'll start by sharing a post from my previous blog. I know it's super simple and you've probably seen it before, but for me, the Green Smoothie is where it all began. It's truly amazing how just making the tiniest of changes, can effect your whole life.
So, for those who aren't familiar with smoothie making (or smoothies that don't involve lots of dairy and sugar) i hope that this recipe brings you just as much light as it did for me.
Best served first thing in the morning when the greens can be easily digested. Enjoy!!
Simple Green Smoothie:
2 Stalks Celery 1 Cup Kale 1/2 cup of /chopped silverbeet/romaine lettuce or other leafy green 1 Large Ripe banana 1 Apple Juice of 1/2 Lemon 1/3 cup water (You can also add 1 pitted date or a tsp of stevia to sweeten)
Add all ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth.
