Autumn Perfection

Black, grey, earthy green, ankle boots, long sleeved dresses, (p)leather, silver, darker metallics, dark nude lippy… all of these together just scream autumn to me, and that is exactly what I wore for my day trip to Nottingham yesterday. I went to Nottingham to see my dear friend Charlotte, who is going to uni there – so yes, there will be more Apple Charlotte designs to come in the future.. YAY!
So, then to my autumn perfection-outfit.. All of the clothes were sent to me by Missguided, who launched their new plus-size collection, Missguided , last Monday. The collection is a mixture of fashion forward pieces in sizes 16-24 from duster coats to co-ords to party dresses, and everything in between. And even though the collection only has around 70 pieces, it is an amazing start in my opinion. I was obviously excited when I was sent these pieces (and there’s actually another outfit-post coming later too), and I really love my choices. So in this post I’m wearing the khaki duster coat, the houndstooth dress and the pleather leggings, all in size 24. I was a bit worried about the fit (since at least bottoms usually need to be bigger than 24 for me), but all the pieces that I got are quite generous – I think all the pieces that I got would fit up to to someone size 26-28.

Musta, harmaa, maanläheinen vihreä, nilkkasaappaat, pitkähihaiset mekot, (teko)nahka, hopea, tummat korut, tumman nude huulipuna.. Nuo kaikki muistuttavat minua syyspukeutumisesta, ja juuri nämä sisältävään asuun pukeuduin eilen, kun lähdin päiväreissulle Nottinghamiin. Nottinghamissa minua odotti rakas ystäväni Charlotte, joka jatkaa opiskelujaan siellä. Uusia Apple Charlotten suunnittelemia vaatteita on siis tulossa jatkossa lisää.. jee!
Mutta joo, tämä mun syksyinen asuni sitten.. Kaikki vaatteet lähetettiin mulle Missguided:in toimesta. Missguided julkisti maanantaina uuden plussa-mallistonsa, Missguided , ja mallisto on trendikäs sekoitus vaatteita UK koissa 16-24 (EU koot 44-52). Mallistosta löytyy pitkiä takkeja, yhteensopivia ylä- ja alaosia, bilemekkoja, ja kaikkea niiden väliltä. Mallistossa on tällä hetkellä reilu 70 vaatetta, ja se on mielestäni todella hyvä alku. Ymmärrettävästä syystä olin siis innoissani kun sain heiltä vaatepaketin, ja tykkään paljon kaikista valinnoistani. Tässä postauksessa päälläni on khakin vihreä takki, houndstooth-kuosinen mekko ja tekonahka leggingsit, kaikki koossa 52. Mua vähän jännitti, että miten kokojen kanssa menee (sillä ainakin housuissa tarvitsen yleensä isomman koon kuin 52), mutta kaikki saamani vaatteet ovat itseasiassa vähän reiluja – uskoisin siis, että saamani vaatteet mahtuisivat jollekkin, joka on kokoa 54-56 asti.
