I'm a bit late to the party with this, but this face palette is far too beautiful to miss blogging about. Released as part of the Clarins Opalescence Collection for Spring 2014, this gorgeous compact is so holographic my camera couldn't focus on it properly (see second photo). It comprises a warm base shade with a number of 'blobs' - a couple for blush and a darker, matte bronze shade that's perfect for contouring especially on lighter skin tones. At the very top you can see a small taupe coloured section which is even better for creating a natural looking definition to the cheekbones and the whole lot pared together make the most perfect, natural looking base on the skin. It really echoes the fresh, glowy ideal of Springtime and I can see this becoming a much-used product amongst my collection.
At £30 it isn't cheap, but Clarins do lure you in with the premise of it being limited edition, and I'd say the cost was reflective of both quality and luxury. If you haven't checked out the rest of the collection, there's a brand new eyeshadow quad, new complexion bases
