Orla Kiely Sage & Cassis Scented Candle

Though I’ve never dedicated a full blog post to Orla Kiely’s beautiful candles, you may have caught one burning in the background of this post—not that that would have given any idea as to just how obsessed I am with them—all of them. I was sold on them before I’d even had a sniff thanks to the beautiful glass jar designs and this one, Sage and Cassis, is one of my favourites.
The scent of this surpasses how beautiful the design is; described as a combination of the ‘soothing elements of green sage and the summery sweetness of red cassis,’ this candle fills the room with an uplifting, fresh scent that has an almost powdery finish—think something like a mojito, mixed with a bit of fresh laundry. That’s honestly the best way I can describe it! It’s absolutely beautiful and definitely one of my most cherished candles. With proper care this will burn for about fifty hours (I recommend getting yourself a wick trimmer and making sure you follow the ‘rules’ of candle burning to optimise its burn time).
I have a slight suspicion that this candle might be on the cusp of being discontinued which I’m gutted about, so have stocked up accordingly as I love it that much.
