{Best of 2014} Fashion + Style

Friday, woot! If you saw my InstaGram post yesterday, then you know our exciting news, and the reason behind the recent craziness around here. I hated keeping it a secret, but we needed to wait for the deal to go through. Between that, and another exciting opportunity coming down the pipe, there are going to be a lot of new projects in the next month, and I can't wait to share them with you guys!

But for now, we continue rounding up top posts from 2014, and today is all about the Fashion. I continued {Outfit Inspiration} posts, like I've done since my first month of blogging, but this year I expanded with more Style and How-To posts. Here are the most viewed from the past year...

{Outfit Inspiration} White & Hoy Pink

{Outfit Inspiration} Pinstripes & Floral

Most of my Friday Five posts included an outfit moodboard, featuring new items or combinations I had my eye on.

I think everything in your wardrobe should play double and triple duty, and mix-and-match for multiple looks, and I showed you how I do just that with some basic dresses.

And there's no reason to invest in a bunch of new pieces with each change of season, so I shared my formula for transitioning my existing wardrobe for cooler months.

Nor do you need to pay high-dollar for trends...there's almost always a look-for-less!

And after years of promising a tutorial, I finally shared how I create messy curls that last.

Creating new and different looks, using items already in my closet, is one of my passions, so my favorite this year was the new series, Sugarplum Style. About once a month I share my recent everyday outfits, in hopes of inspiring you to create new combinations of your own.

Fair Isle Sweater | Chambray Shirt | Flap-pocket Jeans | Knee Boots (similar) | Watch

Whew, that was a doozy of a round-up! Obviously I'm no style guru or trendsetter, but hopefully you find some inspiration here. Do you enjoy reading the style posts as much as I love creating them?! Happy weekend, lovebugs...we are headed to a friend's lake house for some down time, and to let our agent work her magic on our house...so send good mojo!
