50 Shades Of Crayola: A hand-drawn portrait by Alejandro Doporto Perez

Last week I got sent this eye-poppingly colourful portrait of myself, all the way from a reader in Mexico! I would perhaps have been happier if he had drawn me wearing a little sombrero whilst getting wasted on tequila in Tijuana (not to stereotype our Latin American comrades too broadly of course), but it's a pretty marvellous effort all the same eh? The likeness to yours truly is uncanny and I especially like the detail on the furry little pom poms and buttons. Not to blow my own trumpet too loudly, when you start receiving 'fan art' you must be at least a little bit of a celebrity no?!! I reckon I'm at least on par with the successes of David Hasselhoff by now and I think I can probably start asking for my bath to be filled with Evian and my toilet paper to be made out of 100% cashmere soon.
