Kimora conceived the idea for her line in June of 2013, and it officially launched in December 2014. As she describes it, her inspiration for the line evolved organically:

“As I stood in my closet at 5 a.m. earlier this year, running late for a flight and with a full day ahead of me, I felt defeated by a wardrobe of favorite pieces — the sequined gown, the cozy weekend sweater and stacks of jeans, the beachy dresses, the amazing red stilettos that only look right with a certain red suit and start to pinch after 20 minutes — that each fit a particular part of my life but none of which would get me through a busy Thursday.”

The looks are cutting edge yet flattering and feminine. Perfect for the woman who wants to make a statement while staying even with her male counterparts. While the price point requires investment, the quality and tailoring of these pieces are beyond compare.

For now, KLS clothing will only be available though the KLS site or Kimora’s boutique opening in Beverly Hills Spring 2015.
