DIY Straw Sparklers
I can’t tell you how cute these little 4th of July straw sparklers are! They are so little and fun and a perfect alternative to real sparklers. Plus they last longer! If your kiddos aren’t too destructive anyway! ;) But even if they are, these are so fast, easy, and affordable, that you can whip up plenty of extras! They would make great party favors too!
I wanted to dream up some safe and cute “sparklers” that my toddler could play with. I’ve heard the horror stories of sparkler burns. Not to mention that fireworks aren’t exactly legal here in these parts. ;) So I started trying to come up with an idea of something she would enjoy. Just like all my other ideas, I thought about it most while I was trying to sleep late at night. That’s when I do my best thinking. And worst sleeping. And once I had a plan, I went to get my supplies. That’s when I got distracted and ended up making a straw wand too. Oopsie.
