MY DIY | Print Lampshade

Hey All! I am back from an amazing vacation for my sisters wedding in Mexico! If you were following along @ispydiy on instagram, you may have sensed a theme of color and patterns. The bright hues in Mexico were beyond inspiring, I could not get enough, which is evident by the ridiculous number of Mexican blankets I bought! While I am often drawn to just a pop of yellow, but my trip is encouraging me to add more color into my decor. One super simple way to do so is by covering your lampshades with fabric. This is the perfect project for a temporary color fix or some pattern play in your living area. Match your shades to your pillowcases or make a group of lamps in contrasting bold patterns. Supplies and steps after the break!

What you need:
Fabric (a sturdy canvas worked perfectly)
Stitch Witchery
Rowenta Pro Master Iron
Scissors
Lampshade
Velcro
