Maternity Style - 33 Weeks Pregnant

Another week goes by, which means it’s time for yet another maternity style post. For anyone who is now bored to tears with seeing how I style my bump each week, have faith, we’re on the downhill slope now.

Today’s outfit centres around this rather fabulous white kimono style jacket that I picked up recently in Sainsbury's (where else?!). Initially I wasn't sure whether I’d be able to get much wear out of it whilst pregnant, but it works perfectly well styled with a basic black vest and lets me showcase my bump while I still have it.

The jeans are another pair of New Look’s under the bump maternity skinnies, I already own them in black and bought a pair in dark blue to alternate. Originally I had intended to buy a pair of cropped jeans in anticipation of some warmer weather before baby arrives (wishful thinking), but the swelling around my ankles and feet made me rethink that idea and I went for a full length pair instead.

My bag is one of my favourites, my Louis Vuitton Neverfull which I bought during Fashion Week a few years ago. I don’t use it as often as I would like as I’m always paranoid about the fact there’s no real method of closing it, but for trips to the office and to see friends it’s the ideal carrying companion.

The sandals are a very recent addition to my summer footwear collection. Atterley Road were running a competition on Instagram to win an item from their holiday shop, I entered a photo of these Ilse Jacobsen sandals as they caught my eye almost immediately and was delighted when a few days later they told me that I’d won! The sandals arrived in the post last Friday and I wore them out for the first time on the Saturday. Not only are they bright enough to encourage the sun to shine, they’re also comfortable enough to wear despite my feet being swollen - perfection!

I bought the earrings when we visited the Lake District over the Easter weekend. My sister-in-law and I were browsing one of the many cutesy stores in Windermere when I came across these earrings. I waited until we were getting ready to leave before I decided that I simply had to have them and the fact that they happen to work dreamily with my new sandals is merely an added bonus! Finally, my necklaces are both from Lucy Hutchings; I've had them in my collection for a few years and generally wear them together as a pair which I think looks distinctive without being too overpowering.
