valentine’s day gift guide

I feel “eh” about Valentine’s Day usually as far as the sentiment goes. I definitely feel like you should be showing love to your significant other all year round. But that doesn’t mean you still can’t get a fun sweet gift for your man on Valentine’s Day. It doesn’t need to be anything extravagant, so here are a few ideas.

Harry D Koenig & Co 5 Piece Shave Set in Tortoise – Shaving stuff can be pretty! Don’t give this set to your guy and call it pretty, but we will know it’s pretty and that’s what matters.

I Love My Smoking Hot Girlfriend Shirt – Ebollo Etsy – Your boyfriend obviously needs this t-shirt.

Plaid Tie – Express – There are some fuuuuugly ties out there. This one is not fugly, but is classic and cool looking. Guys always need non-fugly ties.

Wedding Anniversary Embroidery – KitschAndStitchNY Etsy – This is a cute idea to commemorate your anniversary. This is kinda a gift for you too since it’s a decor piece, but why not?

Sipping Stones – Whisky Chilling Rocks – If you guy likes whisky, these rocks are a great way to chill his drink without watering it down.

Men’s Health magazine subscription – A magazine subscription is always a nice idea for a gift that keeps on giving all year.

Lex Cocktail Glasses – Crate & Barrel – These glasses are so freaking cute. I want them for myself.

I Love My Wife Shirt – UnicornTees Etsy – I got Jarrod this shirt for Christmas. Read closely and it actually says “I love it when my wife lets me go golfing.” This is very apt for us since he’s a golf fiend.

Kindle Fire HD 6 Tablet – If your man needs a tablet, this one is only $84 right now which is cray.

Target – Socks – Who doesn’t like cute socks? There are fun and not really Valentines-y.

Heart Boxers – Gap – Now these boxers are totally Valentines-y, but why not?

How to Be a Man: A Guide to Style and Behavior for the Modern Gentleman book – This looks like a cute coffee table type book that is kitschy and not too serious with one chapter called “Man is a Fur-Bearing Mammal.”

How are you celebrating Valentine’s Day this year? Are you exchanging gifts with your man, hanging out with your girlfriends, being anti-Valentine’s? We actually don’t have any plans so far, but since it’s our first married Valentine’s Day, I feel like we should probably do something super romantic and fun. Or we can wear pajamas at home with popcorn and movies. I’d be fine either way!
