Last but not least, my finale look for Vancouver Fashion Week.
I love the society that we currently live in where a growing number of the population are becoming more aware of gender inequality and are taking steps to blur the line between what a man and woman ‘should’ and ‘shouldn’t’ be. The androgyny trend is at an all time high, we’re starting to hear more about role reversal in parenting and it’s beautiful. Every day we start cracking apart a new mould and it’s a world I’m proud to live in and actively help change for the better.
Today the theme is, “anything a man can wear, I can wear better.” A 2 piece suit designed by a woman for women isn’t so much of a shocker anymore, but that doesn’t you shouldn’t stop to appreciate that a woman in a suit wasn’t always an acceptable instance.
