It’s been a long time since we last spent any time together. Too long.

I miss our late night rendezvous where I didn’t have a care in the world and my only mission was to get to know you better. To know every.single.thing about you.

I mean, we’ve been meeting like this for almost two years, hardly missing a week and now it’s been two months. Two long months.

It’s not you. It’s me.

In case you didn’t hear, things have been crazy busy around here. We’ve registered The Kids for school, completed unplanned house renovations, Uncle Kevin and Liz came for a visit, lost electricity (several times) and last but not least, Phoenix passed away.

I want to let you know that I won’t go on like this any longer. I can’t. And, I know that I’m not the only one that has missed you. I know because others have been coming to visit the “old you” and asking when the “new you” is coming. Quite the compliment.

So, in the spirit that is February (whatever, the Mexicans don’t need a reason to party), let’s bring everyone together to celebrate all that you are.
