Finally my Christmas vacation started. Finally. December was so busy so far, I had many tests, appointments and had or still have to buy some gifts. But now I can enjoy sleeping longer in the mornings, baking cookies, wrapping gifts and just enjoying all the christmas-sy feelings!
It's really weird this year no (real) snow has fallen yet. It's even quite warm and the meteorologists say that 2014 has been the warmest year since recording the temperatures!
At all I've here just a little Christmas gift inspiration, which I'll give to my bestfriend, the other presents I've already given to my friends, so I can't show them. I kind of forgot to take photos and was also quite busy. At all I wasn't sure what to give her and I personally love presents, where you see that the person thought about what to give and also made some efforts. I mean if I want something I usually can buy it on my own, or at least the small things and I don't expect expensive presents. At the end I came up with a little Travel Journal, where I wrote some quotes about traveling, a little message from me and I stuck a photo of us, and some other small "tumblr-like" pictures in. Then I wrapped it and I had quite a bit of fun wrapping it, trying to make it look fancy. Funny fact, you know that I was in China in October, and when I was there I brought a little souvenir for her, until today I always forgot to give it to her... So there it is! Maybe it inspired one of you, as a last minute not very expensive gift idea!
The little notebook was from a store from my city but I'd say that many stores will have notebooks!

Ich weiss, dass mein Blog nicht wirklich wie all die andern so weihnachtlich dekoriert ist oder fokusiert eher. Ich war während dem ganzen Dezember, bis jetzt, sehr beschäftigt; hatte Termine, Prüfungen, Geschenke kaufen...
Aber zuletzt habe ich hier ein "Last Minute" eher günstigere Geschenkidee!
Für eine Freundin (hoffentlich sieht sie das nicht bis ich es ihr überreicht habe!) dachte ich, dass ich ihr ein Travel Journal geben werde, da sie sich sehr für andere Kulturen und Länder interessiert und ich ihr nicht einfach nur ein Parfüm oder so geben wollte. Ich habe so ein kleines Notizbuch gekauft, welches eine Weltkarte als Cover hatte. Ich habe noch in das Buch einige "Reise"-Zitate und eine kleine Nachricht von mir geschrieben, dazu noch einige Bilder und ein Foto von uns hineingeklebt. Dazu habe ich versucht es "fancy-looking" einzupacken, also dass es einfach schön aussieht. Leider hatte ich das mit den Tannenbäumen etwas verpatzt, aber fällt sicher nicht auf!
Hoffentlich ist das eine kleine Inspiration für einige von euch!
